Success
Stories
The following success stories are just a few of our many satisfied
clients.
Saving College Dollars
A large midwestern university asked TMI to review, or audit, its
telecommunications billed accounts for the previous thirty-six month
period. TMIs consultants studied the universitys bills,
contracts, and tariffs for 14 months. TMI discovered contract errors,
tariff errors, and physical errors. Before TMIs audit the
university had been paying for services it didnt
need, as well as for phone, fax and data lines no longer in existence.
TMI negotiated with the telecommunications provider for refund credits
totaling $581,145. In addition, TMI negotiated with the provider
for future savings of $17,028 monthly.
Taxpayer
Funds Recovered
Eaton County, Michigan contracted with TMI to audit its telecommunications
bills, contracts, and tariffs. Paul M. Rogers, Director of Eaton
County Central Dispatch, describes the savings as a whopping $48,911.42
in credits and refunds from the AT&T and Ameritech. In addition,
Rogers appreciates the inventory of telephone circuits currently
in use by Eaton County and prepared by TMI as part of this audit.
With more and accurate information, Eaton County can safeguard taxpayer
money in future telecommunications contracts.
Banks
Benefit from Saving, Too
"If TMI hadnt caught the errors, we never would have. Im
sure those over billings would have gone on for years", states Thomas
Smith, Senior Vice President of Huntington National Banks. TMI consultants
recovered more than $100,000 in overbilling, a significant percentage
of the banks' telecommunications spending.
Corporate
Negotiations
AON Corporation contracted with TMI to negotiate with Ameritech,
their telecommunications provider. "TMI was instrumental in securing
a significant savings to our company", says Mary Ann Ebert, AON Corporations
Divisional Coordinator. "TMI managed to clarify and dispute many
charges we may have paid, due to their complicated nature. Therefore
I am very thankful that we contracted TMI...
They did a great job."
